Ialysos village Rhodes island Greece
Ialysos or Trianda as it is sometimes known, was the birth place of Diagoras, the famous Olympic Champion. Colonised first by the Minoans and then by Mycenaean traders, this beautifully sheltered region of northern Rhodes became a great city.
