rhodesholidays.net is an independent travel agent specialising in holiday accommodation in Greece and specifically Rhodes island. Our strong relationship with local hoteliers and owners enables us to give you the best prices available for accommodation in our area via a fast and efficient website.

What fees could I incur by booking with rhodesdirect.com?

The rhodesholidays.net service is free. You may search for accommodation, make reservations and change names without charge. Only if you cancel a reservation or make any major changes to your original booking will a small administrative charge be made. (See booking conditions)

How do I search for accommodation?

Via the search module on the Home Page you can search for accommodation by location, date and number of rooms. Select the “city” from the drop down button; enter the number of rooms required for the amount of people; insert the check-in and check-out date and push» SEARCH”. The system will display the available accommodation for the details submitted.

How do I search for accommodation by price or specific facilities (pool etc)?

By selecting the “information and rates” button on the availability page you will be able to view prices and facilities for each accommodation.

Do I need to register every time I log on to rhodesdirect.com?

Unless you have already made a booking via the website there is no need to register on entering the portal. If you have already made a reservation and wish to view or cancel it you must hit the VIEW/CANCEL RESERVATION button on the Home Page and enter your booking itinerary number and the e-mail used at the time of reservation. This will display all information relating to your booking.

If you are an agent you must enter your personal username and password each time you enter the portal.

How can I change my personal details?

By contacting us on reservations@rhodesholidays.net  you can amend your personal details.

Can I view my booked itinerary online?

You can view your itinerary by hitting the VIEW/CANCELRESERVATION buttonon the Home Page.

What proof do I receive of my booking?

When you book accommodation through rhodesholidays.net we will send you an e-mail confirmation with an itinerary number which is proof of your booking. The itinerary number and e-mail must be used for any further communications relating to this booking.

How can I contact Rhodes Direct?

The most efficient way to contact us for general enquiries is by e-mail at info@rhodesholidays.net ; for queries relating to reservations at reservations@rhodesholidays.net .

What do I do if the accommodation I am looking for is not on the website?

It may be that the accommodation is fully booked or unavailable. If you are interested in a specific accommodation not featured on the website please contact us at reservations@rhodesholidays.net , we will endeavour to find you equivalent accommodation.

Can I make a booking by telephone or e-mail?

The fastest and most efficient way to make a booking is via the website, however if you are experiencing difficulties please contact us at reservations@rhodesholidays.net or by telephone on (+30) 22440 48268

How long does it take to receive a response to my booking?

If the booking is made via the website and has been accepted an immediate response and confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail.

Room Types

What’s the difference between DBL, DBLSV, DBLSSV, DBLGV & DBLMV?

These are the different double room classifications and are: STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM, DOUBLE ROOM with SEA VIEW, DOUBLE SIDE SEA VIEW, DOUBLE ROOM with GARDEN VIEW and DOUBLE ROOM with MOUNTAIN VIEW. All double rooms have twin beds unless otherwise stated.

What do FB, HB, BB & RO mean?

These refer to the different meal plans and are: FULL BOARD, HALF BOARD, BED & BREAKFAST and ROOM ONLY.

Can we get extra beds for children in our room?

Accommodations that allow extra beds for childrenstate this in their details with supplement prices.

Reservation Process

How do I reserve and book accommodation?

When you have found the accommodation you wish to book simply hit the BOOK NOW button . This will display a page with your booking details and a form to fill in with your personal and credit card details. This is a secure site and any information submitted will not be used for any other purpose other than booking the accommodation and making payment. Carefully review the details provided and ensure that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions before submitting the information. An e-mail confirmation will be dispatched immediately.

When is the latest I can make a booking?

This will depend on individual accommodation availability. If the reservation is within the following 7 days and you are encountering difficulties booking via the website, contact us on reservations@rhodesholidays.net or on (+30)22440 48268

How do I know that my booking is confirmed?

If the booking has been accepted either via the website, e-mail or telephone we will send you an e-mail confirmation.

I have booked a hotel and not received a confirmation by e-mail. What do I do?

If you have not received an e-mail confirmation within 48 hours of submitting your booking please contact us at reservations@rhodesholidays.net or on (+30)22440 48268

There is a mistake in my confirmation. What should I do?

You should contact us immediately at reservations@rhodesholidays.net

How many rooms can I book in one reservation?

The system will allow you to book at least 4 rooms in one reservation. If you are a larger group of say 10 people or more please contact us at reservations@rhodesholidays.net for further information and availability of special rates.

Accommodation Policies and Facilities

What are the check-in/check-out times of the accommodation?

Most accommodation has a policy of check-in after 12noon and check-out by11am. (See booking conditions)

How can I request an early check-in or late check-out?

This will depend on the individual accommodation policies. For more information contact us on aftersales@rhodesholidays.net

I will be arriving late in the evening; will I still be able to check-in?

Normally yes, however to ensure your arrival and check-in runs smoothly contact us with your estimated time of arrival and mode of transport on aftersales@rhodesholidays.net

Are there any specific restrictions in the accommodation (i.e. no smoking)?

Most accommodations with special restrictions, such as non-smoking, will be stated on the website information. If in doubt contact us on aftersales@rhodesholidays.net

What form of ID do I need to check-in to the accommodation?

You will need your reservation voucher (confirmation e-mail) and valid passport or identity card.

Does the apartment accommodation have a certain standard?

All accommodation on the website is rated by the National Tourist Board EOT and a star rating of 1 to 5 is awarded. We cannot accept liability for any misconception of the ratings of accommodation on this website. Payments, Pricing and Charges

How do I make a payment?

The payment procedure is straightforward; simply fill in the secure page on the website with your credit card details and submit the reservation. Your credit card will be debited with the amount shown on the payment form.

When do I have to pay for my accommodation?

Full payment is required on booking accommodation.

What forms of payment can I use when making a booking?

Via the website you must make payment with a credit card.

What types of credit card can I use?

All major credit cards are accepted.

Does the accommodation/rhodesdirect.com need a deposit or a payment in advance?

Full payment must be made on booking to ensure your reservation.

I do not have a credit card. Can I still book a room?

To make a booking via the website you will need a valid credit card.

Can I use a different credit card at the hotel to that which I have used online?

The accommodation should be paid in full before your arrival at the accommodation. In the instance of extras for hotel accommodation any valid credit card should be acceptable. For smaller accommodation, extras, such as air conditioning, may be payable in cash only. Please contact us on aftersales@rhodesholidays.net if this is not clear from accommodation information on the website.

Will I have to pay any charges if I cancel my booking?

An administrative charge will be made if you have to cancel your booking. Please refer to booking conditions.

Why should I pay now when my check-in date is months away?

This is to ensure that you get the most competitive prices for the accommodation you want to book.

Are the rates per person or per room?

The rates quoted are per room.

How can I get an invoice for my accommodation stay?

Can the price of the accommodation change after my confirmed booking?

Your rate is secured by full payment on booking.

What is exactly included in the price?

The price includes the accommodation and meal plan quoted on the accommodation information.

Are taxes included in the accommodation rates?

All prices include taxes.

Do you charge any commission or fees for credit card payments?

If booking via the website there are no commission charges for credit card payments, this keeps the prices competitive. If, for some reason, it is necessary for us to process your payment we may have to charge a small commission.

Is online booking with rhodesdirect.com secure?

We use a secure credit card payment system.

If my credit card is charged, how can I get a refund?

Refunds will be made direct to your credit card.

What about the security/privacy of my personal information?

rhodesholidays.net will only use your personal information for matters relating to your booking. See Privacy and Rights.

Are children charged the full accommodation rate?

Cancellations and amendments

How can I cancel or change my booking?

You may cancel your booking by clicking on the VIEW/CANCEL MY BOOKING on the Home Page. To make changes to your booking contact us with your itinerary number and e-mail address used on the booking form on aftersales@rhodesholidays.net

Do I pay a cancellation or amendment fee?

An administrative charge will be made for cancellations and amendments. Name changes are free of charge.

How can I be sure that my booking has been cancelled?

You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your cancellation and your credit card will be refunded with the adjusted amount.(see booking conditions)

Can I cancel a part of the group that is travelling with me?

This will be considered an amendment and subject to administrative fees.(see booking conditions)

What if I want to increase my accommodation length of stay or number of rooms?

How do I know it’s safe to travel to Greece?

Greece has been a top holiday destination for many years and boasts a strong record of safety. If you are in any doubt about your specific destination please contact us on info@rhodesholidays.net

Do I need a visa or any special travel documents?

EU passport holder travelling from within the EEC should need no other documentation. If you are travelling from outside the EU please check with your local consulate, embassy or travel agent for documentation requirements.

Are the apartments and hotel accommodation suitable for people with disabilities?

Accommodation with facilities for the disabled are indicated in the accommodation information. If you have further enquires please contact us on reservations@rhodesholidays.net

Do I need health insurance?

We strongly recommend that you arrange adequate health and travel insurance to include hospitalisation or repatriation. Credit card cover is rarely adequate for holiday insurance.

What is the difference in seasonal variations?
